Chin Chin, a Chinese/Asian fusion restaurant within the New York–New York Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, commissioned 36NORTH to design a fully integrated, pixel-mapped lighting system as part of it’s 2025 renovation.

Composed of 150 LED lanterns and 1,200 feet of linear LED, the installation is embedded throughout the restaurant. A custom control interface enables curated lighting scenes, transitions and effects that respond to the space, reinforcing atmosphere, rhythm and spatial hierarchy.

Developed closely with Advatek Lighting, the system resolves the complexities of fixture density, long distance data distribution and retrofit integration, resulting in a cohesive lighting design that is both technically and architecturally precise.
